Millet is a herbaceous plant known since prehistoric times. It is a staple of India, China, Africa and Russia where it develops spontaneously. Also in northern Italy, it is an important cereal and still cultivated today. Very rich starch grain. Once cooked has the tendency to thicken and therefore lends itself perfectly to the preparation of timpani or vegetable dumplings.
